COVID 19 STUDIO POLICIES

Due to the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic Portrait by Chrissy is updating our studio policy to ensure that our studio and operations mitigates the possible spread of COVID 19 once we are back open. We want our clients and prospective clients to know how we will be ensuring the safety of everyone from staff to clients so you can have peace of mind.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN SICK OR AROUND ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN SICK YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT YOUR SESSION AND YOU WILL NEED TO RESCHEDULE FOR AT LEAST THREE WEEKS OUT.  This is non-negotiable and you will not be penalized for rescheduling as long as you notify Portrait by Chrissy ASAP. If your photographer has been sick or around someone who has been sick, all persons scheduled for the three weeks following date of illness or contact will be rescheduled.

  1. Only persons being photographed will be allowed in the studio. Guest may no longer accompany clients to their session until further notice. This is non-negotiable.
  2. The studio and bathroom will be thoroughly cleaned and all touch points will be disinfected immediately  before a session and immediately after.
  3. Your photographer will wear a mask for the entire duration of your session.
  4. All garments touched or worn will be cleaned and disinfected in between sessions. We ask that you let your photographer select the dresses off the rack that you’d like to view. You are welcome to try on any dress or outfit in our wardrobe but please do not place them back on the rack, they will need to placed separately so they can be cleaned and disinfected before being returned to the rack.
  5. Sessions that include hairstyling and makeup: The stylist will wear a mask while applying makeup and styling hair. We will no longer use communal makeup brushes. Each client will receive their own brush set for their session and will be able to take that set home with them after.
  6. All clients will have a clean towel in case of need to sneeze or cough. We ask that you sneeze/cough into the towel to stop the spray. We realize this is Houston and a cough or sneeze is common due to allergies but for the sake of caution we will ask you have your towel near you at all times. You may bring your own clean towel as well.
  7. We ask all clients to refrain from touching anything that is not pertaining to their purpose in the studio to reduce contamination. We know that gowns, studio samples, props, etc… are exciting to see and under normal circumstances to touch, feel, and hold but while we are navigating through this pandemic, please don’t touch unless it will be in use as a part of your purpose in the studio.
